Come on out and meet adoptable cats and dogs in your community! DCHS will be out and about each week with a variety of adoptable animals looking for their new family. These events are a great way to meet and interact with a selection of adoptable animals from our shelter.
Staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer all your questions about our adoption process, the many wonderful animals still waiting at our shelter, and the many other programs and services offered by Dane County Humane Society including our low-cost spay/neuter program and how you can get involved through volunteering or fostering.
Many animals are ready to go home the same day if you find your purrfect match!

Dane County Humane Society is always looking for new venues for our mobile adoption program. If you are planning an event, considering partnering with DCHS to help promote adoptable animals in your community!
Customers love coming out to meet our furry critters and our business partners have been very happy with the success of joint events.
To book a mobile adoption for your next event please contact Jan Viney, Development Director, at janviney@giveshelter.org or (608) 838-0413 ext. 117. Please keep in mind that our schedule fills up very quickly and due to shifting animal populations throughout the year we cannot guarantee a minimum number of animals for each event.
Volunteers Needed
