Listed below are the minimum fees for adopting an animal from our shelter. We have more than likely spent considerably more than this amount caring for your new friend while he or she has been with us -- you are certainly welcome to donate more than the minimum fee and help the next homeless animal find their forever home!

Dogs
All dogs at minimum are spayed or neutered, vaccinated against Distemper, Parvovirus, Rabies (when age appropriate), and Bordatella (kennel cough), microchipped, and treated for fleas and ticks. Puppies receive a Parvovirus test and adult dogs are heartworm tested. Additional vaccines are given as needed.

Cats
All cats at minimum are spayed or neutered, vaccinated against Distemper and Rabies (when age appropriate), microchipped, tested for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and ringworm, and treated for fleas, ticks, and ear mites. Cats over 6 months also get tested for Feline AIDS (FIV). Additional vaccines are given as needed.
