This feed contains our announcements. http://giveshelter.org/ We hope you enjoy the look of our new website!  We are still working on formatting and functionality so please bear with us while we work out the kinks.  If there is anything you are not finding here or need assistance with, please do not hesitate to simply give us a call at 838-0413.  http://giveshelter.org/#ann94 DCHS hosts a pet loss support group the third Thursday of each month, 6:30-8:00 p.m. This group is intended to help people deal with or prepare for the loss of a companion animal.  It offers the opportunity to share experiences and listen to others in a supportive and friendly environment.  The meetings are facilitated by Deb Jarrett and are free of charge.  Jarrett has a background in animal medical services and mental health. She has eight years experience as a veterinary technician. In addition, she has worked as a mental health therapist for 11 years, with experience in both individual and group therapy.
